Join us June 2 during the Family Picnic / Art Walk and Book Fair for our annual Leopard Lap Fundraiser

DJ’d by our own Mr. Hyppa, this will be a high energy musical event where the students will complete laps by walking, dancing, skipping around the school track for fun and exercise all to raise funds for our PTA. Every student will get a free accessory to motivate them as they round the laps. Get in the spirit and wear the color of your grade the day of!

An average of $30 per Lockwood student is needed to reach our goal. But why stop there? Students raising over $200 will have their name entered in a drawing for additional prizes. If our school breaks our $17,000 goal, Mr. Keeler will dress up as the fruit mascot of the winning class for a day.

We need volunteers to assist the day of the fun walk. If you would like to help, please let us know at

volunteer@lockwoodpta.org

There are numerous ways your child can raise money

 Your child should have brought home a donation/sponsor form. Extra forms can be found in the office or online.

 Make a donation from your family. We know hectic schedules may inhibit looking for sponsors so any form of support from your family is greatly appreciated! Note all children can participate even if they are not able to raise funds. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

 Email family, friends, out of town relatives and have them use our online PayPal donation button at www.lockwoodpta.org. Important! Please make sure to include them on your donor sheet for your child’s personal and classroom totals towards winning prizes!

 Check to see if your company will match a donation. Many corporations (i.e. Boeing, Microsoft, etc) will match donations to a non-profit organization. Please ask sponsors if their company participates in such a program. See matching fund guide on the PTA website.

 All donations are per student, not per family. This is for prize eligibility.

Tips to Fundraise:

The Leopard Laps goal is to raise $17,000. This fundraiser is the only one we do as a PTA and it is vital to our budget. 100% of the money raised goes directly to the PTA to provide for a variety of activitiesand resources for the entire Lockwood community. The PTA’s purpose is to support our entire community which includes students, faculty as well as families. When asking friends and family for a donation, explain what PTA events are important to you. Talk about the new drums for your music class or the new gym and recess equipment purchased by the PTA this year. This will help those you are asking understand what the impact for you is.
