HELLO DADS AND GRANDDADS

Have you been wondering how you can be involved?

PAWS Patrol is a volunteer program for dads of students currently enrolled at Lockwood. The program involves being physically present at school at certain times of the day, and positively interacting with students to help create an atmosphere of support and encouragement.

PAWS Patrol increases opportunities for dads to participate in school. This increased participation directly benefits the school community through an enhanced sense of security at school. Extra dads equal extra eyes and ears watching over our students and school. PAWS Patrol members get a glimpse of their child’s everyday school life. Members provide positive male role models for all students and gain a greater awareness of the positive impact they can have on a student’s life.

A PAWS Patrol pilot program was implemented for the 2015-2016 school year. The program is not currently active. Please contact but is still being considered for future implementation. Please contact Joe Jonart (joejonart@gmail.com) for further information, to inquire about volunteering, or to discuss future implementation of the program.
